UNMANNED AERIAL SYSTEM W20G

The unmanned system is designed as a robust industrial solution for professional operators. The system was created for the rapid collection of highly precise data about the area of interest.

stability

The W20G system provides a stable flight platform during data collection, takeoff, and landing, even in adverse weather conditions. This stability improves the quality of images and the resulting products of aerial missions, including orthophoto maps, multispectral maps, and 3D models.

speed

The speed of data collection in the area of interest is, on average, 36% higher compared to competitive systems, and for W20G, it's not a problem to cover an area of 136 hectares in 20 minutes, including takeoff and landing.

resilience

The W20G system can operate even in challenging weather conditions that would stop other unmanned systems. Thanks to the robust VTOL propulsion system and stable airframe, the unmanned aircraft can fly in winds of up to 14 m/s and gusts of up to 20 m/s during takeoff, missions, and landings.

quality

Due to the standard use of high-quality RTK GNSS, the data quality ensured by the flight platform's stability is further enhanced, resulting in data with GSD parameters down to 1.5 cm/px and centimeter-level accuracy.

simplicity

The W20G system is designed to reduce the workload of operators and personnel. It does not require pre-flight assembly, which shortens the time between arrival at the site and the flight. Additionally, it has a clear workflow, minimizing the time for organization and enabling quick adaptation to the W20G system.

Working with the unmanned aerial system

The advantages of W20G within the described workflow include low personnel requirements, with the possibility of single-operator use. Additionally, there is a high-speed execution of aerial activities, high resilience to weather conditions, and easy handling of the resulting data.

PLANNING

Before departure to the aerial imaging site, a flight mission is planned, and system components are prepared. The mission is planned using Qground Control software and stored. Before the flight, take-off and landing parameters are adjusted, especially the direction based on current weather conditions. The preparation of the unmanned system's hardware mainly involves battery charging.

TRANSPORT

For transport to the location of aerial work, the W20G system is equipped with a transport box measuring 1125 x 725 x 260 mm. This transport platform contains all the components required for system operation. The transport box can be handled by a single operator.

PREPARATION FOR FLIGHT

Upon arrival at the site of aerial work, the system is unloaded from the vehicle's cargo space and transferred to the takeoff location. This is followed by the launch of the ground station software and the execution of an RTK survey to ensure the desired accuracy. During the survey, takeoff parameters are corrected, and a final check of the flight plan and pre-flight check of the unmanned aircraft are performed. Once this phase is completed, the unmanned aircraft is ready for takeoff.

FLIGHT EXECUTION

By moving the controller in the Qground Control software, the unmanned aircraft is activated, and after necessary checks, it takes off. It ascends in VTOL mode, transitions to forward flight, and reaches a speed of 25 m/s. It performs imaging along the planned route at speeds of up to 6.8 hectares per minute. After completion, it returns, lands, and deactivates. It can capture 136 hectares in 20 minutes, even in challenging weather conditions, provided the wind does not exceed 14 m/s and gusts of 20 m/s.

COMPLETION OF THE FLIGHT

​On the SD memory media, there are images that are subsequently processed into the final form of orthophoto maps, multispectral maps, or 3D terrain models using suitable software. The SD medium is easily accessible by opening the cover of the unmanned aircraft. After completing the flight and downloading the images of the area of interest, the entire system can be placed in the transport box within a few minutes and loaded for transport back to the operator's headquarters.

COMPLETION OF THE ORDER

Once the data is processed, the required parameters are evaluated, and the results of the work are delivered to the customer. The entire workflow, from flight mission preparation to the delivery of final data to the customer, can be completed within 24 hours, depending on the size and location of the surveyed area.
